story

In 4th grade, Trieu Hong Ho Em suffered from a fever that made his muscles gradually weaken and atrophy, forcing him to be bedridden for a long time. Ho Em had to put aside her dream of going to school. Not long after, his father passed away, so his mother became the breadwinner to take care of the family. The future was almost closed before his eyes, but with extraordinary energy, Ho Em started trying to make decorative models out of bamboo even though his arms and legs had difficulty moving and his neck could not turn.
With passion, optimism and immense love for her mother, those were his motivations to overcome his illness and create beautiful and sophisticated handmade products. Ho Em loves his job so much that he happily admits that he is a "Bamboo-man Vietnamese ".
